The Master Report Card in Schoolscan provides a structured and consistent way to present student academic performance. It consolidates subject results, assessments, and additional evaluations into an official report card generated directly from the Gradebook.

Schoolscan supports multiple report card types to meet different school needs, such as Primary and Secondary Report Cards. Each report card can be customised based on Subject ConfigurationAssessment Headers, and optional non-subject sections, ensuring the final report accurately reflects how students are assessed at different levels.

Report Card Settings

To create a new report card:

  1. Go to Report Card Setting

  2. Click Add Report Card

  3. Enter the Report Card Name

  4. Select the Academic Year and Programme

  5. Choose whether to apply the report card to:

    • Specific level(s), or

    • All levels

  6. Set the report card status:

    • Active – available for use

    • Closed – no longer editable or selectable

Report Card Cycle

Each report card can have one or more report cycles (e.g. term-based reports).

To add a report cycle:

  1. Click Add Cycle

  2. Enter the Cycle Name (e.g. Secondary Term 1 Report)

  3. Select the Cycle Start Date and End Date

  4. If required, add a Principal’s Note under the Heading Assessment section

Additional Criteria (Behaviour & Others)

In addition to subject results, schools may include non-subject information in the report card.

Using the Add Behaviour icon, schools can create additional criteria columns such as:

  • Behaviour comments

  • Attendance summaries

  • Skill observations

  • Other custom remarks or evaluations

These sections will appear alongside academic results in the final report card.
